My name is Kathryn…. and I’m a film-a-holic.
Classic film is the film genre I simply adore - watching them, reading about them, researching them online and listening to their soundtracks. I’m a sucker for the good old MGM musical but I do like to expand my viewing horizons. I also love Alfred Hitchcock films, the Fred & Ginger musicals, anything with Doris Day in it and I’m starting to really get into the films that Bing Crosby & Bob Hope made (separately as well as together).
I also like music from this era - as well as soundtracks, I love swing, jazz and traditional pop standards. I’ve now got an iPod which makes it so easy to collect & listen to. You can also see what is currently on my iTunes below:
I also spend far too much time playing the game Blogshares. My player name is Brunhilde Esterhazy (as in the character from On The Town) and I can be found buying… selling… and eradicating dead blogs from the index.
I also love to watch TV shows like CSI, House, Friends and old 80’s sitcoms. I also like to read trashy novels in betwen biographies. 
And I’ll add more later when I think about it.
