I got my new iPod yesterday. Gosh it’s small… it makes my mini look like a clunky dinosaur. And strangely enough… my small cellphone looks like a dinosaur. I’m loving the colour screen - no more of the grayscale that gets blurry if the song title is whizzing across the screen. It’s smaller in size (2 gig instead of six) but I can live with that. I even survived having my photo taken for being a prize-winner today.
Needless to say, that’s what I was playing with all yesterday afternoon at work. And others had to admire it too, and try to hide it. While working of course.

I am a huge iPod fan like many others I know. It means I can listen to the music I prefer in so many different places. I got a pink mini in September (as the shuffle I initally bought stopped working while under warranty)… and literally 2 days later they released the Nano. I would have definitely have waited if I had known - colour screen, tiny, a lot sleeker looking. So I was pretty excited to learn I won one at work. Fingers crossed I’ll get it in the next week or two.
I was also excited to learn the day before that I won a copy of Marjorie Main: The Life And Films of Hollywood’s “Ma Kettle from the Classic Actresses group a couple of days ago too. I was watching Meet Me in St Louis the day before wondering what she was like…
