I vaguely remember a show on Cartoon Network several years ago about a group of musical kids and their black music teacher/mentor. There was a tall, awkward red haired kid in the group, but I can’t exactly remember the other characters. I think the creator/voice of the music teacher was possibly a famous musician. Does anyone else remember this?

it seems that way with my school, the joker / weird kids get the joker part, the alpha male guy gets the leader guy part, etc.
so do the directors of high school musicals (usually choir teachers who know the kids auditioning personally) cast based on the person?

Hey there! Next year, I will be a foreign exchange student to Germany!
I am VERY into theatre here in America, it is my life. I was jusg wondering if lots of kids do theatre over there.
One of my favorite musicals is Spring Awakening, and I know that it is set in Germany. Do the community theatres in Germany perform that alot? What are popular musicals that they do?
