they are the very active type. every second of the day, they have to be up and going (and going and going and going). Sometimes, like once a week, i just need them to sit down all at once and be quiet and watch TV. None of them can seem to do this. They hate TV. The middle aged ones like Disney Channel and all those movies and shoes (Hannah Montana, High School Musical) but the others, forget it. Is there anything I can do to get them to settle down and watch it every now and then?

I’m auditioning for Parade this next week, and I was wondering a bit about the roles of Iola Stover, Mary Phagan, Essie, and Monteen. Are they sopranos or altos? How big of a part are they, and how much singing and dancing is required? Thanks a lot!

And since when does Disney allow so much kissing in a movie those two where practically foreplaying in the highschool musical. My son is nine and felt compeled to cover his eyes. Really, that shouldn’t happen in a disney movie.

i remember a few things from it….
-they (a brother and sister) lived on 123 singsong lane
-there was a birthday party and people danced on the picnic table
- "sally wears a red dress, red dress, red dress….all day long"
-these 2 stuffed animals came to life: a pink mouse and a brown bear
- they also sang peter rabbit
hopefully someone knows the name of the movie i am talking about- it was one of my favorites!
Thank you

The Disney Channel continues to feed crap like High School Musical to kids. Children these days don’t have quality TV like they did only 10-15 years ago. High School Musical would’ve never made it to TV.

My daughter is interested in music, but I have no musical background. Lessons are expensive, what are other homeschoolers doing?

"A KIDS LIFE" MUSICAL LYRICS MUSIC BY COREY LELAND "A Kids Life" Musical is like a concert that embodies a certain 1960′s feel at this site here http://www.cdbaby.com/coreyleland. Envision the folksy pop score by Corey Leland composer/lyricist being belted out by Sixties hit songwriters & bands like the Turtles & The Byrds! When Corey Leland was a child he listened to The Monkees Partridge Family & The Beatles even though those are love songs for grown ups. Corey’s music has the same catchy retro groovy feel & vibe but with great messages for kids!

I have an audition for a Off-Broadway kids musical theatre company, and i need to songs to sing. (One fast, one slow.) They said they are pretty easy going on what song you choose, so it can be a song from a recent musical. i really need help, noting seems to come to mind. my audition is in 20 days and i need songs quick.

I’ll be teaching kids aged 4-8 years tomorrow in a class called dance medley. What are some nice songs appropriate for kids that they could dance to? Aside from the High School Musical soundtrack. Thanks!
