"A KIDS LIFE" MUSICAL LYRICS MUSIC BY COREY LELAND "A Kids Life" Musical is like a concert that embodies a certain 1960′s feel at this site here http://www.cdbaby.com/coreyleland. Envision the folksy pop score by Corey Leland composer/lyricist being belted out by Sixties hit songwriters & bands like the Turtles & The Byrds! When Corey Leland was a child he listened to The Monkees Partridge Family & The Beatles even though those are love songs for grown ups. Corey’s music has the same catchy retro groovy feel & vibe but with great messages for kids!

Hi, I’m thinking of entering in a drama festival & I’m looking 4 something from a published play / musical!!! Just tell me the name of it and describe what part …. try to make it a group or solo for a female and could you make it from a musical?? Maybe something with singing, but I prefer more dance!! THANK YOU!

A lot of older ppl I know who grew up in the 70′s (were in high school or pre-teens then) seem to know how to play bass, drums, the keyboard/piano & some even the sax. I know some kids like college bands but so many seem disinterested. Not even the turntables & scratching seem as popular as it was in the 90′s.

Because I saw on Amazon a soundtrack for the new musical cast. Would that be the one with Lee Mead?

For three of the colleges that I am applying to, the essay question that I want to answer states, "Choose a favorite film, novel, musical piece, work of art, etc and why it has special importance to you?" Tell me about something that is popular & that can be easily related to developing someone’s life. Thanks a bunch!

I like System of a Down, Serj Tankian & the FCC, Scars on Broadway, Disturbed, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Wolfmother and bit of Tool and Perfect Circle. Occasionally I listen to Pink Floyd, Green Day, Daft Punk, "Weird Al" Yancovic, Sum 41 and AC-DC.

There have been some really good musical movies out recently: Chicago, Rent, The Producers. And yet, only Chicago was modestly successful. Musicals used to be the movie studios bread and butter, now you’re lucky if you can get enough money to videotape a high school production (okay, I’m exaggerting, but still…) The few that do come out aren’t popular. Why is that?
I guess my real question is: Why can’t people suspend disbelief to enjoy musicals? Here’s a link to my blog post on the subject; that should help explain it a little more.
Woops! Forgot the link. Here it is: http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-gSmhHxkwd6IhwNkHBKpfkw–?cq=1&p=11

It was very famous and I searched online for a long time to try to find a place to buy it but could not find anything. Please if anyone knows a place to buy it on dvd tell me!!!! I love it and have to have it.
