I have an audition for a Off-Broadway kids musical theatre company, and i need to songs to sing. (One fast, one slow.) They said they are pretty easy going on what song you choose, so it can be a song from a recent musical. i really need help, noting seems to come to mind. my audition is in 20 days and i need songs quick.
I need a 1-2 min. monologue for an audition for The King and I. I would like the monologue to be from a musical. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Side note: My library doesn’t have any scripts or anything, so I need to be looking online. Thanks again!
I need some songs from musicals to sing at an audition. It has to be able to be played by a piano. THANKS! :]
I have auditions on Feb 6th but I have to find songs and monologues now so I can practice. The requirements are: Three memorized songs in contrasting styles: 2 art songs at NYSSMA Level 6, one in foreign language, that demonstrates classical singing technique; one musical theater song.
Two memorized monologues, 2 or 3 minutes in length, one serious and one comic.
I usually sing mezzo-soprano. Does anyone have any suggestions for either or both sections of my audition? Please help. Thank you!
I will be auditioning for "Little Women" and the audition calls for a show tune or ballad. I am new to musical theater (primarily in opera usually) so I am unsure of what would be good.
What about "I’ll Know" – Guys and Dolls?
I’m using this song for an audition and I want to find the best karaoke version of the song to use. Thank you
I have an audition coming up this Saturday, and I desperately need sheet music, so I thought I’d look for something I know. But I can’t find a single link that’s sincere. Can anyone help me out?
I’m auditioning for a show coming up, and I need a good audition song. I’m a kid, so please give me some songs for my age. I’m auditioning for a lead in Charlotte’s Web (a musical version) and I want to be Wilbur, Charlotte, or Fern. Any songs you can think of would be good?

**NEW INFO**
My theater group doesn’t like us to repeat songs from old shows. Here are the songs I know and the shows that weren’t written by the Co. writers that I’ve been in
Music Man
Annie
Seussical he Musical
I’ve been in 6 shows but half of them were written by people that work for the theater group.
Remember, I’m a girl really going for Wilbur, a boy role, so I need a fun song that shows off my voice. I have a very wide range, but prefer singing alto.
Thanks!!
Oh wait, there is more…
They don’t like people to sing stuff from any past shows, whether I was in it or not.
So here’s what they have done.
You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown
Some version of "Cinderella"
Annie
Beauty and the Beast
Music Man
Seussical the Musical
Tom Sawyer (not sure if that was written by the company or not)
Wizard of Oz
I need a good mezzo soprano belt-y musical theater audition song!!!!
It needs to be very well known because if the director doesn’t know the song, she makes you sing something else. So just a classic musical theatre song would do! Please answer if you know one!! (:
Also, i am NOT doing popular because i learned at an audition workshop that popular is the worst song to pick if you only have to sing 16 bars (which i do)
