Sorry, but there’s not a whole lot of RENT in it, but instead there’s a TON of other hysterical moments. So we’re back at Florida State, and I’m in the same dorm building (Cawthon!), but not the same room. I like System of a Down, Serj Tankian & the FCC, Scars on Broadway, Disturbed, Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, Wolfmother and bit of Tool and Perfect Circle. Occasionally I listen to Pink Floyd, Green Day, Daft Punk, "Weird Al" Yancovic, Sum 41 and AC-DC.
Rod from the Broadway production of Avenue Q threatens to leave the show if he is not selected as Broadway’s Biggest Fan. Come see Broadway on Broadway, Sunday, September 16th at 11:30am in Times Square. This annual free outdoor concert brings together stars and performances from current Broadway productions to celebrate the beginning of the new season. Broadway on Broadway features performances and appearances by cast members from Broadway’s most popular musicals and plays, including recent Tony Award® winners and nominees. The event features a grand finale with a rain of confetti. Fans should arrive early for a good spot in the 50000-plus crowd. The Broadway Fan Zone will also make its debut this year, giving fans an opportunity to enjoy the concert from a VIP area right near the stage. An up-close and personal standing room section will be made available to the first 100 fans that arrive dressed as their favorite Broadway character.
