What are the kids of today going to end up like when people like disney brainwash kids to belive that these "stars" are good role models, I mean they are told what to say so they dont get caught in a scandal that will hurt Disney in anyway.
I just dont understand they are making them so huge around the world, they have no musical talent and giving kids the wrong idea about life.
Like mama mia came out in summer 2008 and hairspray came out in 2007. Are there any good movie musicals like that comming out in 2009. Im not talking about disney channel stuff like HSM and Camp Rock. THANKSS

This one was more of a challenge ^^, to be honest. Not a whole ton of my musicals or disney songs seemed to fit,, but I feel I made a fair judgement. With the way things are going (more songs for each musical).. GOF will be a two-parter! Hah.. songs for Ron are sort of hard to find.. I liked the first part because of the “we read the book and you come out on top”.. hahaha, yeah.. Plus, I discovered the Monty Python musical recently, so, I had to sneak some of those in! My oldest 2 (6 and 3) like Alvin and the Chipmunks, Hotel for Dogs, Baby’s Day Out, Enchanted, Mama Mia (lol). They just discovered Eloise at the Plaza ~on disney today. They arent really into cartoon movies, what are some regular movies geared toward kids, or musicals (They also like HSM, Grease, Sound of Music etc.)
I’m a male actor in musical theatre and I’m starting to have some problems finding good musicals to pull audition material from. If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated.

Any Disney Movies (The Little Mermaid, Mulan, Pocahontas, etc.)

Etc.
These musicals are great and I love their songs, but they are used way too much for audition purposes by other people and it’s not a good thing for an actor/actress to use a song from them since the auditors are probably sick and tired of hearing them by now.
