Our school is putting on a big musical for high school and middle school students. They are thinking about the Wizard of Oz because the younger kids could be munchkins, can you think of anything else. The parts do not have to be for younger kids. For example, the last full school production we did was Les Mis and the kids were basically added in as the sons and daughters of the ensemble. PLEASE HELP!!!

Well, I Have seen :- Phantom of the Opera, Chicargo, Les Mis, We will Rock You and Am seeing Wicked Next Month – but what about any others? What do you recomend?

Has anyone ever seen Miss Saigon, or any other musical that you thought was great? I saw it and I thought it was amazing. I am looking forward to seeing Les Miserables soon too. I can’t wait. I have seen Phantom of the Opera twice and it is incredible!
They are bringing Les Mis back!!!

Ive already read wicked and i have this phase right now where im into all musicals and ive already attempted les mis and it was just too hard to comprehend. id also rather read relatively new musicals like next to norml, spring awkening, in the heights you know stuff that isnt really boring or confusing minding that im still a teen. PS ive check my local library and they only have two other books other than wicked which ive never heard of.

I am pretty sure it is Les Miserables, but it might be Phantom of the Opera. I’m not sure. My dad says its Phantom, but I say it’s Les Mis. But I cant be for sure.

I realize that some musicals had a really long gestation period. Eg Les Mis. Did any successful musical get churned out quickly? Good or bad, which were the quickest?
