Where Can I find Music from the Musicals?
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find something like an ultimate collection of music that is featured in musicals?

i’m in the musical theatre program at my school, and we are coming toward the end of our current production of Beauty and the Beast.
However, the Director wants suggestions for a good musical next year.
I have no idea. any suggestions?
the requirements:
1. good ensemble pieces
2. at least 4 or 5 lead parts
3. good draw [gets people to come to the show]
4. good dance break moments in the music.
is there a special club or group that produces musicals?
anything else unique at Lehigh relating to music?
I personally hate them all, but thats because I’m into music more along the lines of Marylin Manson, and musicals more like Sweeney Todd.
For music I am to play a piece from a musical on the piano
I prefer going solo, so a piano piece would be nice
I was just wondering if you can suggest some nice, popular, easy musical songs for the piano
By popular, I mean like -Phantom of the Opera
-Hakuna Matata
-Under the Sea
etc etc
it would be nice if you could list many as many of my class members have already taken many of the good ones
The three i listed above are taken
Is it possible to train new borns to hear music,so when they get old enough to play an instrument it will be easier for them to pick up on?
I know that most musicals started off on stage, before turning into a movie, but I have an idea for one that needs special effects, and I doubt it could ever be pulled off on stage. It’d be best suited for a movie.
I suppose I could write it as a book first, because I usually turn my ideas into books, without the music of course, and then maybe one day it can be turned into one…
But I was just wondering….
Rocky Horror was on stage first.
