Why don't they make good movies for kids anymore?

I was going through some of my old movies from when I was a kid (The Sandlot, Little Big League, Home Alone, Mighty Ducks, The Goonies, etc.) and thought "Damn, I was young during the right time." I have little brothers and sisters and all they have is crap like High School Musical. Is there any new stuff that doesn’t suck? I miss good movies with kids being kids and not every person is an abercrombie for kids model, where the dialogue is believable.
