Why is Disney trying to brainwash kids, with the Jonas Brothers and Hannah Montana?

What are the kids of today going to end up like when people like disney brainwash kids to belive that these "stars" are good role models, I mean they are told what to say so they dont get caught in a scandal that will hurt Disney in anyway.
I just dont understand they are making them so huge around the world, they have no musical talent and giving kids the wrong idea about life.
I would love to hear your opinions on this

Disney wants to take over the world.
well exactly its just an entertainment & not all the kid’s love this kind of life & so as its a kid’s channel i cannot comment anything on it.a parent or a teenage can give you a better survey.
OMFG!! THANK YOU FOR NOTICING!!! im telling you its not only from disney channel thier everywhere ….even on MTV awards i see nothing special about them . i think thier doing this so they can get higher ratings.
but i really dont like them because everywhere you turn there they are.

I really agree with you on this one. It’s all just a part of a good marketing scheme. Hannah Montana is what we would call the typical ”All American Girl” with solid morals, christian values, etc. This would probably be why parents have no problem with their children watching it. As for the Jonas Brothers, they’re not as bad as Miley, but it’s pretty much the same thing. They’re just trying to appeal to a slightly older audience.
there young children, there’s nothing wrong about having a roll model who’s a singer or acter or superstar (even if they aren’t that talented). Its not like there giving off the total wrong impressions, its better than disney showing teens who get drunk all the time, smoke, take drugs and cut themselves.
Let kids be kids and let the paretns worry about wut there watching.
If they were so bad wouldnt they be off the network anyway?

They are not brainwashing them and it’s only Miley Cyrus that is a bad role model. Jonas Brothers have done nothing to kids.
I could go on forever about this, but here’s a short version. It’s all part of the dumbing down and immoraliztion of society. Everyone knows if you start young enough, you can shape a society into whatever you want….loyal followers ( like the Japanese in WWII), religous extremists, whatever. Look at songs..chorus, chorus, chorus!! Role models that do everything wrong, then everyone accepts it as "cute"and oh well, everyone makes mistakes BS.
well disney channel is more of a kids channel u kno 9 nd under nd they dont want to give the wrong idea. thats y we teenagers got mtv nd channels like that

Kids are going to look up to celebrities. They always have, they do now, and they always will. It’s up to parents to try to teach their kids between right and wrong, and to teach them not to do the same things as celebrities are doing if they believe they are doing something wrong.
I personally think Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are fine role models. The Jonas Brothers wear promise rings, showing that they won’t have sex until they’re married. Miley Cyrus has great family relationships, and has never been photographed naked, or drunk, or on drugs.
I personally would rather have my kids looking up to these young stars rather than people like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton – who are photographed with no underwear on, have been seen drunk/smoking underage, and have made sex tapes.
Disney is very careful who they pick to make their new stars because they know kids will look up to them. Why would they pick someone that would hurt their image? They would try hard not to. Maybe these kids are not just "doing what they’re told". Maybe they’re actually just good kids, that we should want our kids to look up to.
i am one of those kids who love HANNAH MONTANA AND JONAS BROTHERS!!..i love them..they rockk..i don not kinda agree with your question..they all are teen pop sensations..n not a bunch of brainwashers..
